Your role will be to ensure that the “Gold Standards” of The Ritz-Carlton are delivered graciously and thoughtfully every day. Job Responsibility:
Receive, document, and separate soiled linens, terry, uniforms, and/or clothing
Identify stained or damaged items
Operate and monitor washing, dry cleaning, and drying machinery, including adding chemicals, and cleaning lint traps
Apply treatment to stained items
Press and fold cleaned articles
Hand wash garments
Respond to guest requests for laundry/dry cleaning, minor repair, and pressing
Maintain records of laundered items and uniforms distributed and returned
Deliver laundry/dry cleaning to guests and employees
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
complete safety training and certifications
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
protect company assets
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
anticipate and address guests’ service needs
thank guests with genuine appreciation
Speak with others using clear and professional language
answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others

Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight
