Drone pilot

• Operate and maintain unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) safely during all phases of ground and flight operations, including emergency procedures
• Coordinate flight schedules, airspace access, and resource allocation for UAV missions
• Support integration and testing of UAV systems and related technologies
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams
• maintain professionalism and responsiveness
• Perform routine inspections and ensure compliance with operational standards
• Travel as needed for project assignments
• occasional weekend work may be required
• Complete additional tasks and duties as assigned

• FAA Part 107 certification required
• Minimum 2-3 years of UAV flight and technical experience
• At least 2-3 years of geospatial experience required
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Prior land surveying experience (1-3 years) preferred but not mandatory
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with clients and team members at all levels
• Understanding of UAV operations, airspace coordination, and safety protocols
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and maintain UAV systems
• Knowledge of surveying principles and geospatial data collection
• Comfortable using CAD software and related tools for project deliverables
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods (8+ hours)
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, humidity, rain)

• Familiarity with Leica Cyclone is a plus
• Prior land surveying experience (1-3 years) preferred but not mandatory
