Job Responsibility

Assist the driver during multi-drop deliveries, ensuring all orders are handled safely and correctly
Work with the depot team to ensure all orders loaded for delivery are accurate
Handle stock on and off vehicles, following manual handling best practices
Ensure delivery paperwork is completed correctly and payments are received
Pick and pack stock at the agreed rate within the depot
Maintain vehicle and depot housekeeping standards at all times
Manage temperatures for chilled and frozen deliveries
Ensure damages are dealt with in the correct manner
Provide excellent service to customers and support smooth on-road and in-depot operations

Job Responsibility

To carry out stores duties as required to include general stores, medical consumables and delivery of these
To respond to all, fast-track requests to ensure customer needs are met
To work in the dispatch areas of both Sterile Services and Endoscopy as required
To clean and make ready for use transport trollies and boxes, when trained to maintain trollies in a fit for use state
To load safely, the transport trollies to allow delivery of sterile goods
To act as a ‘drivers, mate’ as required and where an appropriate licence is held, drive company vehicles to complete collections and deliveries
Where needed and trained, cover technician duties within the Sterile Services and Endoscopy department
To support the general maintenance of the unit
Any other duties as required
