Job Responsibility:
Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods and materials to assigned locations within agreed timeframes
Ensure all deliveries are accurate and complete, handling paperwork such as delivery notes and manifests
Reporting any defects or incidents promptly
Comply with all relevant traffic laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, representing Paul Rigby Ltd professionally
Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel use, and any incidents during driving shifts
Work collaboratively with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
Valid UK driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type you will be operating
Proven experience as a driver, preferably in the automotive or logistics sectors
Good knowledge of local roads and routes in Staffordshire and surrounding areas
Ability to handle physical aspects of the role, including loading and unloading
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high safety standards
Basic literacy and numeracy skills for handling delivery documentation
Flexible approach to working hours as required by the part-time schedule
