Job Description:

This role is a multi-drop delivery driver role and the person will be responsible for delivering company products to the customer in a safe and timely manner. You’ll be a representative of the company and be one of the first point of contacts for our customers, so a high standard of customer care must be maintained at all times.

Job Responsibility:

  • Abide by all company guidelines and MHRA requirements
  • Deliver goods accurately and in a timely manner
  • Sort goods on arrival at depot into route order and load onto vans
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain vehicle roadworthiness
  • Record and report all vehicle defects
  • Meet all legal requirements of the use of the highways
  • Record and report all damages
  • Adhere to company guidance for delivery and return of goods
  • Maintain highest standards of cleanliness with company vehicles
  • Adhere to company standards regarding work wear and PPE
  • Correctly use and maintain all equipment supplied
  • Report any faults or issues with equipment
  • Safeguard the vehicle and its contents
  • Maintain strong links with Transport and Customer Service Departments
  • Remain contactable via company phone
  • Be flexible and react positively to changes
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities
  • Follow company procedure for times of absence
  • Ensure regulations are adhered to
  • Understand and comply with job relevant Companies Practice Standards
  • Understand the Companies standard operating procedures and attend training

  • Good driving record and appropriate licence for the role
  • Must be able to stay focused when driving and training for long periods
  • Accurate and timely paperwork
  • Accurate and comprehensive record keeping
