Job Description

Stevenswood is a dedicated supplier of PVCu and aluminium windows, doors, glass, conservatories and accessories, catering to both trade professionals and homeowners. We are now looking to add a part-time Driver/Warehouse Operative to the team at our Oldham trade counter.

Job Responsibility

  • Unloading and delivering products in the local area
  • Helping to unload stock at customer sites whilst building great relationships with the customers
  • Helping the team in all aspects of the branch such as answering the telephone, greeting customers and full responsibility of our branch showroom and warehouse

Requirements

  • Previous delivery delivering (3.5T vans) and heavy loading/unloading of Windows and Doors with knowledge of the geographical area
  • Able to lift large and heavy products
  • Valid Driving licence (Essential)
  • Friendly, approachable and enjoys being with people
  • Ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines and work efficiently
  • Familiar with stock control, order picking
  • Basic computer literacy for stock checks, scanning of POD's and reporting any shortages to the relevant factories
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with both their team, line manager and customers
  • The ability to collaborate and cooperate with others in their small close knit team
