Requirements

Two (2) years of experience in warehouse environment
Strong initiative and decision-making skills to identify and solve problems in a timely and effective manner
Effective communication skills both written and verbal
Excellent leadership skills with a demonstrated commitment to development and continuous improvement
Proficient with standard programs including Microsoft office, WMS and SAP software
Proficient with Microsoft Office (excel, PowerBI, PowerPoint) and SAP or other WMS systems

Job Responsibility

Coordinating outbound and inbound loads based on schedule and volume
Assisting in balancing demand across inbound, outbound, put away, and replenishment processes
Liaising with the shift supervisor to prioritize and assign pick tickets efficiently
Assist in balancing the volume demand and labour requirement of various warehouse functions such as shipping, receiving, put away and replenishments
Reviews weekly requirements and plans work in advance to accommodate peaks times
Track inventory fill rates and customer demand, identifying any gaps for correction to ensure proper staffing and transportation requirements are aligned to demand in order to reduce fill rate penalties and late deliveries
Maintain shipping supply inventories to ensure the efficiency of load planning (BOL, manifests, etc.)
Monitor open deliveries in Infolog regularly to ensure system and inventory accuracy in order to meet customer demands
Support all warehouse initiatives in coordination with the site leadership team. Build strong rapport with drivers, actively participate on projects, identify gaps and areas for improvement and recommend solutions

Job Responsibility

Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the warehouse or production areas
Responsible to adhere to food quality and food safety as per the standard(s) provided by corporate, customer, and/or governing bodies (ex. SQF)
Checks in carrier drivers, assigns dock door, dispatch and coordinate yard trailer moves
Maintain accurate records of all loaded drop trailers in the yard by conducting yard checks and issuing daily status updates to required departments, process appropriate paperwork (i.e. Trailer sheets)
Ensure loads scheduled are released for loading
Perform shipping/receiving administrative duties (filing, prepare reports, clerical tasks)
Coordinate raw materials deliveries for production as needed by site
verify against packing lists and COA’s
Coordinate with Customer Service to make sure enough product is available for the required ship date
Perform daily verification of raw materials, concentrates, ingredients, packaging materials and pallets to ensure successful completion of the upcoming production schedule as needed by site
