Driver specialist

• Perform efficient, safe and compliant transport of bloodmobiles (buses), staff, supplies and equipment
• Maintain company vehicles
• Assure exceptional customer service
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Maintain complete and accurate records
• Transport staff, supplies and equipment
• Assist with mobile preparation, staging and setup (i.e. Bloodmobiles and Inside setup to include Neighbor Island)
• Report all incidents and/or compliance issues to management
• Safely and properly dispose and/or clean-up biohazards/sharps or contaminated items while following OSHA and regulations on universal precautions

• Valid In-State (Hawaii) driver’s license
• CDL A or B license with Air Brakes Endorsement
• Acceptable driving record
• High school graduate or equivalent (GED)
• Driving experience in a business environment preferred
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality
• Effective oral and written communications skills
• Must have proficient computer skills
• Must be able to read and comprehend written procedures and instructions
• Must be able to work flexible shifts
• Must have good customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Professional, business-like appearance
• Good attendance
• Able to adjust hours to meet community blood needs
• Able to Travel to the outer island, as required

Driving experience in a business environment preferred
