Job Description:

As our Van Driver & Forklift Operator, you’ll be operating and delivering in our vans as the face of our trusted business, at the heart of your community and connecting Australians every single day. You’ll be working autonomously out on-the-road, interacting with others and being a team player and it doesn’t get better than that!

Job Responsibility:

  • Safely perform and operate a van to pick up mail from Street Posting Boxes, Corporate Offices, Licensed Post Offices and Delivery Centres
  • Pick up mail and parcel items from customers
  • Unload mail articles from vans and manually sort them into small or large letters and parcels including express posts
  • Complete own daily vehicle safety check
  • Paired up with experienced senior drivers for professional development

Requirements:

  • Full or probationary Australian driver's licence
  • Pass mandatory and practical driving assessment
  • Flexible with working additional hours if required
  • Great memory, excellent attention to detail, and can lift up to 16kgs of Mail and Parcels regularly
  • Meet safe working load limit of weighing 130kgs or less
  • Car and forklift licence
