Job Description:

Help Drive Up Standards – Join Arriva as a Driver Quality Monitoring Assessor. At Arriva, we know that delivering safe, reliable, and comfortable journeys starts with our drivers – and that's where you come in. We're looking for a Driver Quality Monitoring Assessor to help ensure our drivers are not only meeting but exceeding safety and service expectations. Whether you're observing customer service or assessing road behaviour, your insight will help shape a safer and better experience for everyone who travels with us. Why this role matters: This is a role that directly supports driver safety, customer satisfaction, and service reliability. It’s not a desk job – you’ll be out and about, observing real-time operations and making a difference where it counts. Your work helps reduce risk and keeps our standards on track.

Job Responsibility:

  • Conducting covert on-the-road assessments of driving and customer service standards
  • Monitoring safety and flagging urgent issues via formal reporting channels
  • Identifying where further training is needed and making clear, evidence-based recommendations
  • Providing clear, concise reports from covert observations
  • Keeping up to date with Arriva policies, safety updates, and service changes through regular briefings

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in monitoring and reporting against driving behaviours and operational standards
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload
  • Confident in giving objective, constructive feedback
  • Skilled in writing factual, unbiased reports
  • Strong organisational, IT and time-management abilities
  • Assertive, yet professional when addressing sensitive issues
  • Committed to customer safety and service excellence
