Job Description

Position Summary: The Catering Utility Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering catering food, supplies, and equipment to on‑campus and off‑campus events. This role supports catering operations by assisting with event setup and breakdown, retrieving equipment after events, completing store runs as needed, and ensuring company vehicles are properly maintained and inspected.

Job Responsibility

  • Deliver catering food, beverages, and supplies to events across campus and other designated locations in a safe and timely manner
  • Load and unload catering equipment, food, and supplies before and after events
  • Assist with picking up equipment and supplies at the conclusion of events and returning them to designated areas
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly
  • Ensure catering vehicles are fueled, clean, and maintained according to company standards
  • Conduct store runs and pick up additional items or supplies as requested by catering leadership
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and temperature control guidelines during transport
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required
  • Communicate effectively with catering staff, event coordinators, and supervisors
  • Provide general support to the catering team as needed to ensure successful event
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to safely operate delivery vans
  • Knowledge of basic vehicle safety and inspection procedures
  • Strong time-management and organizational skills
