Northline are on the lookout for a HR/MR Driver or Forklift Operator to join our team in Cairns. Ideally you will enjoy working in a small team, thrive in a fast-paced environment and have strong multi-tasking skills. We currently have a Full-time position available. If you enjoy variety and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you.

Job Responsibility:

  • Local pickup and delivery in the Cairns metro area using company owned vehicle
  • Loading and unloading a range of general, over-sized, blended and long length interstate freight on mezzanine floor trailers, linehaul trailers, local vehicles and containers
  • Manual handling
  • Ensure yard/working areas are kept organised and tidy

Requirements:

  • Hold a current Forklift Licence (LF)
  • Hold a current HR or MR Driver’s Licence
  • Be able to manually handle freight up to 20kgs
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised
