Job Description

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Driver - Airport Transfer to join our team in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services whilst maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibility

  • Safely operate company vehicles to transport passengers or goods to designated locations
  • Plan and optimise routes using local knowledge and GPS navigation systems
  • Assist passengers with luggage and ensure their comfort throughout the journey
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks
  • Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and fuel consumption
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies, ensuring safe and responsible driving
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service
  • Handle cash transactions and maintain financial records when required
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and requests
  • Keep the vehicle clean and well-maintained at all times
  • Report any accidents, damages, or mechanical issues immediately to management
  • Adapt to changing schedules and be available for flexible working hours as needed

Requirements

  • Valid Vietnamese driving licence appropriate for the vehicle type
  • Proven driving experience, preferably in a professional capacity
  • Excellent knowledge of Phu Quoc's road network and traffic regulations
  • Strong commitment to safety and adherence to traffic laws
  • Basic vehicle maintenance skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
  • Excellent time management and organisational abilities
  • Good communication skills in Vietnamese (English proficiency is a plus)
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Physical fitness to assist with loading and unloading of items when necessary
  • Clean driving record with no major traffic violations
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in challenging situations
  • Basic numeracy skills for handling cash transactions and maintaining records
