Analyze customer and stakeholder requirements and author comprehensive software requirements specifications (SWRS).
Develop detailed software design documents (SWDD) aligned with approved SWRS.
Implement model-based development (MBD) of application software, including modeling, simulation, code generation, and verification, to fulfill functional and non-functional customer requirements.
Develop ISO 26262 compliant Functional Safety software and support Functional Safety audits in accordance with ISO 26262.
Collaborate with other sectors engineers to perform root-cause analysis and resolution of software-related issues identified during bench testing and vehicle verification/validation.
Design traceable, requirement-driven test cases based on software design documents and source code.
Execute and document unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, and regression testing
produce formal test reports compliant with ASPICE and internal quality standards.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in embedded software development for automotive electronic control units (ECUs), preferably in powertrain or vehicle dynamics domains.
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow and demonstrated experience applying MBD workflows in production automotive projects.
Hands-on expertise with industry-standard CAN communication tools (e.g., Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape), including CAPL scripting, measurement, and diagnostic log analysis.
Familiarity with fundamental motor control modulation techniques, including sinusoidal pulse-width modulation (SPWM) and space-vector pulse-width modulation (SVPWM).
Practical experience implementing ASPICE-compliant development processes (e.g., SWE.1–SWE.6), with familiarity with process assessment and evidence documentation.
Good in English, with verbal and written communication skills.
Nice to have
Prior involvement in the development of PHEV, HEV, or BEV powertrain control systems is highly desirable.
Experience in the application of IGBT and SiC power semiconductor devices, including thermal management and protection strategies, is a plus.
