Job Responsibility

Lead and support continuous improvement projects and trials across underground drill and blast processes
Work closely with the Supervisor Production and Senior Production Engineers to deliver production targets
Assist with stope file notes, ring designs, firing plans, and rapid responses to scheduling changes
Analyse drill and blast data, reconcile results, and track improvement initiatives
Monitor D&B activities and key metrics to ensure compliance with design standards
Maintain and support drill and blast software systems including DHS, Orica, Deswik and MDM
Prepare technical reports and documentation aligned with Newmont standards and policies
Contribute to the development and updating of systems, procedures, and operating standards
Support the evaluation and project management of new technologies and innovations
