Job Description:

Our team are currently seeking a highly motivated Drill & Blast Engineer to join our team on a 8D6X roster. You will be primarily responsible for providing support to the Production Drill and Blast department which will including reporting, drill and blast plans and schedules. You will ensure these functions are done in a timely, professional and safe manner.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide support to the Production Drill and Blast department including reporting, drill and blast plans and schedules
  • Monitor and make changes for Drill and Blast resourcing requirements
  • Maintain and improve the Drill and Blast process
  • Carry out and report QA/QC on the Drill and Blast Process
  • Develop, implement and maintain design & planning processes
  • Undertake Drill and Blast related project studies and investigations
  • Provide technical services support to production and other execution teams to safety

Requirements:

  • Established relevant Drill and Blast experience and qualifications within Mining Engineering or similar discipline
  • Software experience in Vulcan or a similar software is highly desirable
  • Team-oriented mindset, focused on quality and solutions
