Job Responsibility

Maintain, optimize, and improve the engine room and technical systems in close cooperation with the Chief Engineer
Perform regular maintenance and repairs on technical installations to ensure optimal operation
Instruct, organize, guide, and motivate assigned crew members
Contribute to a positive work atmosphere and crew development
Maintain ship administration according to Van Oord standards
Prepare, plan, and execute specific maintenance projects as a Day-Engineer

Job Responsibility

lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams across coastal, geotechnical, environmental, civil and production disciplines
act as the technical authority and primary engineering point of contact in tenders and projects

identify risks and opportunities and drive continuous improvement in engineering processes
