We are seeking an enthusiastic Drama to join a vibrant secondary school in Barnsley This is a full-time, long term supply role starting in September 2026. Job Responsibility
Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in Drama across KS3 and KS4
Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with curriculum requirements
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and confidence
Contribute to school performances, productions, and extracurricular activities
Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning
Requirements
Relevant teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
Proven experience of teaching Drama and/or Music in a secondary school setting
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum for Drama and Music
Two recent education or school-based references
A valid enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
