Affinity Workforce Solutions is delighted to be recruiting a Drama Teacher for Gloucester Academy, starting after Easter. This supply position will run for a full academic year, with the possibility of part-time working. The timetable may be 3 or 4 days per week, and the confirmed day with no teaching requirement is Tuesday.
Job Responsibility:
Teaching Drama at KS3 and GCSE Drama
Delivering engaging lessons that foster creativity and confidence
Running extracurricular Drama clubs
Supporting with the school production, rehearsals, and performance work
Working collaboratively with the performing arts department
Maintaining a positive learning environment and motivating students
Requirements:
Passionate about Drama, performance, and creative education
Confident teaching KS3 & GCSE Drama
Able to lead clubs and contribute to wider school life
Skilled at managing behaviour and building strong relationships
Flexible, reliable, and supportive within a school environment
Comfortable adapting to supply teaching needs
Enhanced DBS
Nice to have:
Experience delivering Drama GCSE content
Previous involvement in school productions or performing arts events
Strong communication and creative lesson-planning skills
