Job Description

Your Next Opportunity Clarendon Homes, part of Campbell Property Group (CPG) — one of Australia’s leading residential construction and property development companies — is seeking an experienced and detail-focused Draftsperson to join our collaborative team in Norwest, NSW. In this role, you’ll be responsible for preparing accurate drawings and documentation that support the delivery of compliant, cost-effective, and buildable home designs. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure every plan meets design intent, compliance standards, and tender requirements.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare and deliver tender and preliminary drawings that align with design briefs, NCC, and developer guidelines
  • Ensure all documentation meets compliance, buildability, and customer requirements
  • Review drawings for accuracy and consistency before issue
  • Liaise with internal teams including Sales, Estimating, Design, and Construction to coordinate information for tenders
  • Identify and resolve potential design or compliance issues early in the process
  • Maintain accurate electronic records of all plans and revisions in line with version control standards
  • Contribute to ongoing process improvements to enhance drafting efficiency and accuracy

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in residential drafting within the volume home building industry
  • Strong understanding of NCC, Basix, NatHERS, and DA/CDC requirements
  • Proven experience preparing tender or preliminary documentation for residential projects
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience highly regarded)
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality, accurate documentation
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
  • Organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
