Exciting Opportunity: Draftsman (Processing Systems). Are you a meticulous detail-seeker with a passion for mechanical design? We are representing a global specialist in advanced processing systems seeking a dedicated Draftsman to join their engineering powerhouse. In this role, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between design and physical realization, ensuring that every weld, bolt, and assembly is backed by flawless technical documentation.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare comprehensive fabrication, arrangement, assembly, and installation drawings
  • Ensure every drawing accurately reflects approved design inputs, measurements, and specifications while incorporating detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) information
  • Maintain stringent authority over drawing versions, ensuring that only the correct, officially issued documentation reaches the fabrication floor and site deployment
  • Support dynamic engineering design changes by diligently updating existing drawings and re-issuing controlled documentation
  • Assist in the preparation of full technical packages for customer submission, international shipment, and official project handovers
  • Liaise closely with Senior Engineers to clarify requirements, resolve technical discrepancies, and escalate inconsistencies for prompt resolution

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, or a related technical field
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in drafting, specifically supporting processing system design, fabrication, or assembly
  • A deep understanding of drafting standards and the absolute capability to produce accurate engineering drawings for industrial applications
  • A disciplined mindset for maintaining filing systems and records in strict compliance with established company procedures
  • A focus on "on-time" delivery and high accuracy to minimize revisions necessitated by drafting errors
  • Availability to support peak project loads and urgent revision requirements to meet critical project timelines
