Job Description:

The town of Paxton seeks a motivated, detail-oriented professional to serve as DPW Administrative Services Manager. This full-time role supports the Director of Public Works in overseeing water distribution, highways, cemeteries, and recreational facilities.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree preferred

  • Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License required

  • Must obtain Massachusetts Municipal Procurement Certification (Ch. 30B
  • Ch. 149/30 & 39M)

  • Process new service applications and finalize accounts upon termination
  • Prepare and issue monthly utility bills
  • Process customer payments and refunds
  • Maintain accurate billing and meter data
  • Investigate discrepancies in meter readings or consumption
  • Coordinate with field technicians when necessary
