Job Description:

Pomelo Care is transforming outcomes for pregnant people and babies with evidence-based pregnancy and newborn care at scale. Our technology-driven care platform enables us to engage patients early, conduct individualized risk assessments, and deliver coordinated, personalized virtual care throughout pregnancy, NICU stays, and the first postpartum year.

Job Responsibility:

Educate and guide expecting and new families throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period
Ensure that families feel supported and empowered during this transformative time

Requirements:

Completed certification / training as a birth and/or full spectrum doula
Experience working as a doula with an in-depth understanding of pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with families from diverse backgrounds both virtually and in-person
Comfortable using telehealth platforms, video conferencing tools, and electronic documentation systems
Have availability for virtual and in-person work, as well as evenings and weekends, to accommodate the needs of families
Medi-Cal enrollment
Doula certification or training
NPI number
Adult & Infant CPR from American Red Cross or AMA
PAVE Letter
Liability insurance
CV
3 letters of recommendation
Complete a background screening
