Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games. We are driven by the following values: respect, determination, legacy, engagement and sustainability. Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km. The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI). Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government

Job Responsibility:

  • Act as point of contact among the Command Centre and the competitive and non competitive Venues
  • Represent DopingControl FA in different MiCo2026 planning processes, when delegated by the Head of Doping Control
  • Develop and keep updated planning documents for Doping Control logistic and transports
  • Organize and document regular meeting of Doping Control FA in support of the Head of Doping Control
  • Provide planning and issues management support the Head of Doping Control
  • Keep up to date Doping Control milestones document working closely with planning and coordination FA
  • Participate in meetings as requested by the Head of Doping Control
  • Keep meeting minutes and provide meeting reports to the Head of Doping Control

Requirements:

  • Experience in the operational management of logistic and transport in national and international events
  • experience in the field of major sporting events
  • experience in Olympic and Paralympic Games
  • experience in human resources management
  • Good English speaking

Nice to have:

  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Previous experience in sport events
  • Ability to simplify, synthetize
  • Previous experience in human resources organization
  • Ability to work under pressure and flexible attitude to deal with changing priorities
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills
  • Team player and independent thinker
  • Pro-active in flagging problems and proposing solutions
  • Motivated to learn
  • Advanced user of Microsoft suite (excel, word, powerpoint, sharepoint)
