Job Responsibility:

  • Manage assigned projects from contract award through final closeout
  • Lead the submittal and detailing process by compiling door/hardware schedules, cut sheets, shop drawings, and coordinating architect approval
  • Coordinate with the Procurement Engineer to sequence and time material orders in alignment with the project build schedule
  • Serve as primary point of contact with the GC/owner team by responding to RFIs, ASIs, pricing requests, change orders, and back charges
  • Coordinate directly with the Field Lead and Shop/Warehouse Manager on installation scheduling, fabrication status, and delivery timing
  • Conduct or coordinate field verification visits to confirm site conditions prior to fabrication or delivery
  • Review and approve monthly pay applications with the Project Accountant
  • Participate in monthly job cost reviews comparing actuals to budget
  • Compile closeout documentation such as warranties, as-builts, and O&M manuals
  • Assist with estimating as capacity allows

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of project management or project engineering experience in a specialty subcontractor or construction environment
  • Familiarity with Division 8 products (doors, frames, hardware) highly preferred
  • Experience with submittal packages, RFI management, and change order administration
  • Proficiency in project management software
  • experience with Bistrack a plus
  • Strong communication skills and must be comfortable working with GCs, architects, and field crews
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously
