Job Description:

Door Attendant position at The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort, responsible for greeting guests, assisting with luggage, providing information about property amenities, arranging transportation, and ensuring exceptional guest service in a luxury hotel environment.

Job Responsibility:

Greet and escort guests to rooms
Open doors and assist guests/visitors
Inform guests of property amenities, services, and hours
Explain room features to guests
Transport guest luggage to/from rooms
Assist with luggage storage and retrieval
Assist guests in/out of vehicles with luggage
Supply guests with directions
Arrange transportation for guests
Communicate parking procedures
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
Maintain awareness of undesirable persons
Ensure uniform and appearance standards
Welcome and acknowledge all guests
Assist individuals with disabilities
Answer telephones using proper etiquette
Develop positive working relationships

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats
Ability to move at required speed for work situations
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Ability to lift objects up to 50 pounds without assistance and over 75 pounds with assistance
Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs
Ability to reach overhead and below knees with bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
