Job Description:

Door Attendant position at The Ritz-Carlton Philadelphia, responsible for greeting guests, assisting with luggage, providing information about property amenities and local areas, arranging transportation, and delivering the luxury service standards of The Ritz-Carlton.

Job Responsibility:

Greet and escort guests to rooms
Open doors and assist guests/visitors
Inform guests of property amenities, services, and hours
Explain room features to guests
Transport guest luggage to/from rooms
Assist with luggage storage and retrieval
Assist guests in/out of vehicles
Supply guests with directions
Arrange transportation for guests
Communicate parking procedures
Report accidents and unsafe conditions
Maintain awareness of undesirable persons
Maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
Welcome and acknowledge all guests
Assist individuals with disabilities
Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats
Ability to move at required speed (run, walk, jog)
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds without assistance
Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
Ability to move up and down stairs and service ramps
Ability to reach overhead and below knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
