Job Description

Youthworks is seeking a Donor Relations Assistant to join our Donor & Community Relations team. The Donor & Community Relations team combines both fundraising and communications functions to enhance supporter engagement across the organisation, furthering Youthworks’ vision and mission.

Job Responsibility

  • Processing of donations received by mail, phone, direct deposit, and internet, including some data entry to a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, and receipting of donations
  • Contribute to supporter care activities including but not limited to phone calls to thank donors, sending mailouts, etc.
  • Handle enquiries via phone and email, ensuring all calls and requests are managed in a professional and timely manner
  • Administration of regular giving program including payment recovery/follow up of outstanding payments by email, mail and phone, actioning supporter’s requests, follow up phone calls to donors
  • Assist with fundraising campaign administrative duties as required

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in administrative duties and customer service
  • Data entry experience, ideally including Salesforce CRM in a non-for-profit context
  • Proven experience in identifying and meeting customer needs
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills interacting with team members and external contacts
  • Flexible, collaborative, proactive and innovative team member
  • Excellent personal presentation
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and to be flexible to reflect changes in priority
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications and CRM databases
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills (including proficient phone skills) with a focus on providing strong customer service
  • A systematic and focused approach to tasks with a strong attention to detail
  • Strong work ethos
  • A personal Christian faith and willingness to work within an Anglican organisation
