Job Responsibility

Develop and implement transport plans and schedules
Monitor daily operations and adjust plans as required to ensure on-time performance
Liaise with drivers, warehouse teams, and third-party logistics providers
Optimise routing for cost-efficiency, service levels, and environmental impact
Use transport management systems (TMS) and GPS tracking tools to analyse and improve route performance
Ensure compliance with Irish, UK and EU transport laws and regulations, including HSA and RSA guidelines
Analyse transport data and produce regular performance and cost reports
Respond to customer service issues related to deliveries or transport delays
Support continuous improvement initiatives in logistics and supply chain planning

5 Years or Greater Experience in Planning/Dispatching Local Drivers, Load Planning
Experience with Pneumatic multi-axle tankers, rail tankers as well as domestic intermodal deliveries would be considered assets
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
Intermodal Rail experience as well as Bulk rail experience would and asset
