Domestic/Laundry Assistant

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the premises
• Ensure efficient laundering of clothes, linens, and other washable items
• Collect, sort, and wash laundry items
• Operate washing machines, dryers, and ironing/pressing equipment safely and efficiently
• Fold, iron, and store laundered items appropriately
• Label or identify personal laundry if required
• Ensure infection control procedures are followed
• Report any faulty laundry equipment or maintenance issues
• Clean designated areas including bedrooms, bathrooms, communal areas, and kitchens
• Vacuum, dust, mop, disinfect surfaces, and remove rubbish as needed
• Refill supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels
• Follow cleaning schedules and procedures in accordance with hygiene and safety standards
• Notify supervisor of any hazards or repairs needed in the premises
