Domestic Energy Advisor

• Provide specialist and technical energy efficiency and retrofit advice and guidance to households in Portsmouth
• Manage a strategic engagement plan
• Deliver tailored, face-to-face energy efficiency and retrofit advice to residents, including property surveys, technical guidance, and reassurance on upcoming measures
• Develop and monitor engagement plans for the Switched On Portsmouth service
• Provide excellent customer service
• Offer technical advice on systems like insulation, heat pumps, and solar PV in line with PAS2035/PAS2030 standards
• Collaborate with stakeholders
• Provide staff training
• Coordinate marketing
• Handle queries and complaints
• Manage supplier contracts
• Prepare reports for referral partners

• Extensive knowledge of energy efficiency principles, climate change technologies, and the domestic energy and retrofit sectors
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and PAS2035/PAS2030 standards
• Strong customer service experience, particularly with vulnerable customers
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage workloads independently
