Job Description:

Our client is looking for an experienced Domestic Couple to oversee and manage their luxury 10-bedroom villa nestled in the beautiful countryside of Provence, France. The principals are in residence for around 3 – 6 months of the year. This is a unique opportunity for a hardworking and self-motivated couple, to not only manage the property but create a welcoming retreat for guests.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee and maintain a luxury 10-bedroom villa, which accommodates up to 16
  • Take full responsibility for guests, providing a high level of service during their stay
  • Manage budgets related to property maintenance, supplies, and guest services
  • Oversee the landscaping and gardening (approx 8 Ha), including the knot garden and vegetable garden, and the upkeep and running of the outdoor pool, and taking care of chickens
  • Work to enhance the overall aesthetic appeal of the property through well-maintained green spaces and floral arrangements
  • Coordinate airport runs for guests, ensuring a smooth and timely pick-up and drop-off process
  • Manage transportation logistics for various needs related to the property and guest services
  • Maintain effective communication with the client, providing regular updates on the property’s condition and any necessary maintenance
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure the smooth functioning of the property
  • Maintain a high level of discretion and professionalism in all interactions
  • Handle any ad-hoc tasks or requests that may arise, demonstrating a proactive and flexible approach to the role
  • Work as a cohesive domestic couple, dividing responsibilities effectively to ensure all aspects of property management and guest services are attended to
  • Identify opportunities for improvement at the property, and implementing changes as needed, to enhance the overall experience for the principals

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a similar private household role, with good knowledge of the area
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • French speakers, would be a plus
  • A passion for maintaining a welcoming and harmonious environment
  • The ability to work collaboratively as a team
  • EU Passport holders
  • Valid EU driving licences
