We’re currently recruiting experienced Cleaners (Domestic Assistants) to support the essential work taking place at Barnet Hospital in London. We offer fully flexible shifts, covering Days (07:00 – 22:00) and Night shifts (22:00 – 07:00). Job Responsibility:

Cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, bathrooms, and public areas
Handling waste safely and responsibly
Using cleaning equipment and machinery correctly
Following strict hygiene and safety standards in line with NHS guidelines
Wearing PPE and maintaining a professional, caring approach
Supporting and guiding new team members when needed

Requirements:

Over 18 years of age
Consistent year-round availability is preferred
DBS check is required
Previous 6 months cleaning experience preferably in Healthcare sector is essential
Engaging, friendly, and flexible in manner
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, family members, and colleagues
Confidence in interacting with people
Excellent teamwork skills and a proactive, can-do attitude
Comfortable working independently when required
Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
Comfortable standing and walking throughout the shift, with frequent manual handling tasks
