Job Description:

Domestic Assistant role in a care home, supporting residents and ensuring clean, safe, and well-presented living environments. The position involves varied duties with no two days the same, focusing on resident dignity, respect, and wellbeing.

Job Responsibility:

  • Apply high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness to resident's homes and communal living spaces
  • Work in housekeeping ensuring linen is kept clean
  • Identify potential fire and accident risks and work with other teams to reduce risks
  • Duties may include some support with personal care needs
  • Help residents take part in special interests and activities that support their health and wellbeing

Requirements:

  • No previous experience required
  • No qualifications required

  • Must pass an Enhanced DBS check in relation to Children and Adults
