Job Description:

Domestic Assistant role supporting residents in a care home setting, ensuring clean and tidy living environments, and assisting with activities to support health and wellbeing.

Job Responsibility:

  • Apply high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness to resident’s homes and communal living spaces
  • Work in Housekeeping ensuring linen is kept clean
  • Identify potential fire and accident risks and work with other teams to reduce risks
  • Some support with personal care needs
  • Help residents take part in special interests and activities that support their health and wellbeing

Requirements:

  • No previous experience or qualifications required
  • High standards of cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness
  • Ability to work with other teams to reduce risks

  • Must pass an Enhanced DBS check in relation to Children and Adults
