Job Description

Domestic Cleaner to join our team at Argyle Park Care Home in Southport. Argyle Park is a Residential home catering for up to 31 residents. The home specialises in dementia care, and our aim is to ensure all our residents feel as comfortable as possible. Our homes promote independence, dignity and respect through positive risk taking and empowerment.

Job Responsibility

Ensuring a clean safe environment for residents, visitors and staff
Following a daily schedule for cleaning within the home
Hoovering
Dusting
Polishing
Shampooing carpets
Mopping floors
Any other duties as required

Requirements

Caring and sensitive to the needs of others
Committed to providing service excellence
Able to communicate effectively
Able to provide emotional and social support
Committed to providing a high standard of care, promoting dignity and respect
Caring nature and a positive attitude
Desire to deliver the best possible standard of domestic and laundry service
Ideally have previous domestic experience
Committed to ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness, hygiene and appearance
Able to demonstrate compassion and empathy in approach to older people
Team player but able to work on own initiative
