Job Responsibility:
Provide front-line support to Solace's Advice, Community and Accommodation-based Services across London
cover gaps in service
facilitate continued smooth running of services
proactively support women and children who have experienced domestic abuse
provide nonjudgmental, confidential, psychologically-informed support to survivors of domestic and sexual abuse
risk assessment
safety planning
develop individual support plans
house management
outreach
health and safety tasks
Requirements:
Understanding the importance of working in a psychologically-informed way with both survivors and colleagues
willingness to continuously learn and develop
understanding of impacts of violence against women and girls on women with intersecting identities
transferrable skills and passion for supporting women and children
embrace change
growth mindset
comfortable working independently
prior experience with survivors of abuse is desirable but not required
must be female under Equality Act 2010 Schedule 9 Part 1
