The Domain AI Expert for Manufacturing/Supply Chain will leverage extensive manufacturing expertise and AI technologies to redesign workflows and enhance operational efficiency. The role involves translating real-world manufacturing operations into scalable AI solutions while engaging with executives and customers. A strong background in manufacturing systems and AI is essential for success in this position.
Job Responsibility:
Reimagine manufacturing workflows using AI, Agentic AI, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, LLMs, and Vision-Language Action Models (VLAMs)
Design autonomous and semi-autonomous agent-driven workflows across production, quality, and maintenance
Identify opportunities to replace manual or rule-based execution with intelligent systems
Create clear visual models comparing traditional manufacturing workflows with AI-enabled and agentic execution models
Develop storytelling artifacts that explain system behavior, decision loops, and human oversight
Translate customer manufacturing requirements into structured product inputs for engineering teams
Ensure product designs reflect real-world operational constraints and can scale across plants
Conduct deep research on manufacturing trends, customer operations, and competitive landscapes
Produce executive-ready transformation reports and value assessments
Engage confidently with COOs, CIOs, CTOs, plant leaders, and operations executives
Support proposal development, solution architecture, and estimation
Requirements:
10+ years of experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, operations, or manufacturing consulting
Strong understanding of plant operations, quality systems, and execution workflows
Experience with MES, PLM, ERP, and OT/IT integration environments
Hands-on exposure to AI/ML, analytics, automation, or digital manufacturing initiatives
Strong executive communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
Experience supporting proposals, deal solutioning, and estimation activities
Deep expertise across manufacturing operations, quality, maintenance, engineering, and shop-floor execution
Strong knowledge of manufacturing standards such as ISA-95, ISA-88, ISO 9001, and industry-specific compliance frameworks
Hands-on familiarity with manufacturing systems including MES, PLM, ERP (SAP), SCADA, historians, and OT/IT landscapes
