Job Responsibility

  • Process all project documentation including reviewing and checking Inspector’s Daily Reports, maintaining Quantity Books and ensuring proper documentation for material inspection
  • Maintain logs to track the project status and provide updates relating to construction submittals, O&M Manuals, RFIs and other construction administration reports
  • Troubleshoot issues related to the documents being processed and project related issues
  • Attend progress and quality control meetings

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management
  • EIT
  • At least 3 years of experience working in a construction administration or document control support role in the AEC industry
  • Familiarity with IDOT and knowledge in the highway construction industry
  • Certificate for the IDOT Documentation of Contract Quantities
  • Detail-oriented, meticulous, and have a knack for quality
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
