We're working with a well-established, family-run construction company delivering major projects across the UK. They are now seeking an experienced Document Controller to join their team on a 12-month maternity contract. The Role: You'll play a key part in managing and maintaining project documentation across large-scale construction projects, ensuring accuracy, organisation, and compliance at all stages.
Job Responsibility
Managing and maintaining document control systems
Attend client meetings
Update trackers on Excel
Ensuring all project documentation is up to date and correctly filed
Distributing drawings, reports, and project information
Liaising with site teams, contractors, and internal departments
Supporting project teams with administrative tasks related to document control
Requirements
Previous experience as a Document Controller (ideally within construction or engineering)
Experience using Procore would be hugely beneficial but not essential
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency with document management systems
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment
