Job Description

Make your mark as a document controller at our Abu Dhabi branch office. The document controller ensures a structured documentation flow throughout projects using a document management system (SharePoint) and in accordance with the agreed procedures. This enables the organization to continuously manage the information. Execute and maintain the agreed document management procedures in line with company guidelines and standards. We are looking for a social, service-oriented and accurate team player with an ambition to grow in the field of document control.

Job Responsibility

  • Proactively advise project-, tender- and department heads on activities related to agreed document processes at the organizational level, as well as at project and tender levels
  • Communication, registration, and maintenance of organizational and client documentation using the applicable Electronic Document Management Systems (SharePoint or similar)
  • Coordinate and perform all activities concerning and surrounding the assigned Document Management System(s), ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date. Proactively follow-up with document owners to maintain this
  • Verify compliance of Document Management plan and procedures by assessing the level of implementation in projects and departments and adjusting where needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, IT, record management or relevant
  • At least 1-2 years' relevant work experience, preferably in a multinational company, multicultural environment
  • Skills in ICT Office applications
  • Good command of English (written and spoken)
