Job Description

Are you passionate about driving excellence and fostering a culture of quality worldwide? We are seeking a Document Controller to serve as the central point for our Fugro Integrated Management System (FIMS). In this role, you will be responsible for sorting, retrieval and approval of Global FIMS documentation produced internally by all parts of the company in a timely, accurate and efficient manner. You will ensure that the Fugro Global Document Repository (GDR) portal is fully functional and continuously improved through user feedback. With a sharp eye for detail, you will guarantee that documents meet both specifications and business expectations. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with departments to ensure new and revised documents are retrievable, legible, up to date and in accordance with Fugro Global Document Management Procedure and Document Control. You will also communicate any updates or changes to relevant parties in a timely and efficient manner. This is an opportunity to shape how Fugro ensures consistent document control process and facilitates knowledge sharing between regions.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate with other regional and country-level Document Controllers to maintain alignment with global standards
  • Manage numbering, filing, sorting, and retrieval of Global FIMS documentation with accuracy and efficiency
  • Identify and implement new documentation, eliminating duplication across Global and regional management systems
  • Conduct monthly reviews of existing and new documentation, ensuring timely updates and action tracking
  • Train employees on Global FIMS portal usage and document control policies
  • Provide ongoing troubleshooting, review, and support for documentation processes

Requirements

  • Proven track record of implementing and developing document management systems
  • Over 5 years of experience in quality assurance and document control
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards
  • Strong Microsoft tool skills, e.g. Word, Excel
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English
