Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Document Control & Data Management Specialist to consolidate, manage, and upload Customer Specifications across multiple facilities into our software platform. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of our document management ecosystem. The ideal candidate is methodical, tech-savvy, and committed to maintaining high standards of data quality.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Windows file management (folder organization, file naming conventions, copy/move/rename operations)
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and quality control
  • Ability to work with custom software platforms and adapt quickly to proprietary tools
  • Experience with document control or records management practices
  • Familiarity with revision control concepts (revision levels, addenda, superseded documents)
  • Ability to validate and cross-reference data from multiple sources
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Nice to have

  • Experience with document management systems (DMS) or enterprise content management platforms
  • Familiarity with semi-automated data extraction tools or basic scripting (e.g., macros, batch processing)
  • Background in manufacturing, engineering, or quality assurance environments where specification management is critical
