Job Description

This contract role involves detailed analysis of user‑submitted documents, biometric data, and verification signals using both manual techniques and industry‑leading IDV tools. The ideal candidate is highly detail‑oriented, comfortable operating in a fast‑paced environment, and able to make sound decisions based on incomplete or ambiguous information.

Job Responsibility

  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of government-issued identification documents, including international IDs, to verify their authenticity
  • Assess user-submitted images and selfies for identity validation, utilizing facial matching techniques
  • Detect and report fraudulent activities, such as altered documents, impersonation attempts, and synthetic identities
  • Utilize advanced tools like Jumio, Onfido, Socure DocV, or similar platforms for document authentication and identity verification
  • Adhere to established risk policies and service level agreements while performing application and fraud reviews
  • Accurately document review outcomes and escalate complex or high-risk cases to appropriate teams
  • Maintain consistent quality and accuracy in all reviews while meeting productivity goals
  • Collaborate closely with Fraud Operations and Risk teams to enhance fraud prevention strategies

Requirements

  • Proven experience in identity verification, document review, or fraud analysis
  • Proficiency with document authentication tools such as Jumio, Onfido, or Socure DocV
  • Expertise in evaluating government-issued IDs and identifying fraudulent or manipulated documents
  • Familiarity with selfie matching techniques, facial comparison, and liveness detection
  • Strong ability to identify patterns of synthetic identity and application fraud
  • Exceptional attention to detail and sound decision-making skills
  • Availability to work weekends and thrive in a fully remote environment
