We are seeking a finance professional to support capital expenditure (Capex) accounting, financial analysis, and reporting within a shared services environment. This role plays a key part in month-end close, balance sheet integrity, stakeholder collaboration with local market finance teams, and adherence to group accounting policies and controls. It is well suited to an individual who enjoys analytical work, cross-functional interaction, and continuous process improvement in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare and analyse monthly Budget versus Actual Capex data, including variance analysis
Manage month-end close activities, including depreciation analysis, accruals, provisions, and related approvals
Complete balance sheet reconciliations monthly to a high standard
Collaborate with local market FinOps teams and business stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure accurate Capex spend analysis
Use financial systems such as SAP to analyse asset-related risks and ensure appropriate provisions in the fixed asset register
Maintain SOX controls, including annual sign-offs, and ensure compliance with group accounting policies
Liaise with commercial accountants and market teams to communicate in-period and year-to-date financial performance
Support monthly reporting, forecasting inputs, audit activities, and interim or year-end certification requirements
Process asset creation, changes, and capitalisation based on business inputs
Deliver reporting within agreed service level agreements and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives
Requirements:
A qualified or part-qualified accounting professional
Experienced in financial accounting, with strong analytical and problem-solving capability
Comfortable working with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Knowledgeable in IFRS or GAAP accounting principles
Confident in written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders
Experienced in using MS Office tools
SAP knowledge is an advantage
Able to exercise independent judgement and interpret complex financial data
Nice to have:
Exposure to HFM reporting, Power BI, or automotive accounting is beneficial but not essential
