Job Description:

We’re looking for a Divisional Senior Finance Business Partner to support our Education and Healthcare divisions from our Macclesfield office. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, you’ll work closely with divisional leadership to provide high-quality financial insight, support strategic decision-making, and drive business performance. This is a highly commercial role, with responsibility for financial planning, reporting, and identifying opportunities to improve growth, efficiency, and profitability.

Job Responsibility:

  • Acting as the lead finance partner to divisional leadership teams
  • Supporting new business growth and retention opportunities
  • Leading budgeting, forecasting, and divisional financial reporting
  • Providing detailed financial analysis, scenario planning, and performance insights
  • Identifying risks and opportunities to improve financial outcomes
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to support business initiatives and cost management
  • Driving continuous improvement in financial processes and controls
  • Preparing and presenting financial reports and dashboards to senior management
  • Leading, managing, and developing two Senior Commercial Finance Managers

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in finance business partnering or senior finance roles
  • Proven ability to operate in divisional or multi-site environments
  • Excellent commercial acumen and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate financial insight to non-finance stakeholders
  • Strong Excel, financial systems, and data analysis capability
  • Experience driving performance through financial insight and collaboration
  • Professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) highly desirable
  • Strategic mindset with strong organisation and prioritisation skills
