Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Divisional/Plant Controller to join our team on a contract basis. This role requires a dynamic individual who can oversee financial operations, manage cost accounting processes, and provide insightful reporting to support decision-making. You will play a key role in shaping and refining procedures as part of a growing manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibility:

Manage month-end closing activities, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
Oversee manufacturing cost accounting processes, including inventory tracking and job costing
Develop and analyze weekly liquidity projections and budget spreadsheets to support business operations
Perform reconciliations and ensure compliance with financial standards and company policies
Provide detailed analytics and reporting to assist in strategic decision-making
Implement and refine standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
Collaborate on system integration tasks, integrating a new inventory management system with current ERP
Monitor cash management activities and ensure proper controls are in place
Support quarterly budgeting processes and review financial performance against projections
Handle transactional accounting tasks while wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

Proven experience in month-end close processes and financial reporting
Strong background in manufacturing cost accounting and job costing
Proficiency with NetSuite is preferred but not mandatory
Ability to develop and refine standard operating procedures
Excellent analytical skills with a focus on financial data and reporting
Experience in cash management and budgeting
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities
Previous experience in a dynamic, growing manufacturing environment preferred
