Job Description:

Manage the provision of security & business support services within designated division/business area. Ensuring Customer and Company performance targets, both financial and operational, are consistently met and/or exceeded. Establishing and maintaining excellent client relationships is essential, as is the ability to keep up-to-date with market changes and opportunities.

Job Responsibility:

  • To implement the Company’s short and long term strategic plans & objectives
  • To manage the guarding operation within assigned division/business area
  • To develop and maintain effective relationships with key customers and potential customers
  • To ensure that the business operates in a financially sound way taking accountability and responsibility for controlling resources and costs
  • To develop and maintain an effective cost control culture at all levels within your division
  • To identify areas for additional business from both current & potential customers and provide ongoing support to the Business Development team to grow the business
  • To lead, manage and motivate direct reports including goal setting, performance reviews, appraisals, coaching and development planning
  • To ensure that the business and its mission and services are consistently presented in a strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders
  • To ensure that organisational risks are minimised and managed in accordance with current laws, regulations and internal company procedures
  • To manage your on-going training and career development, actively seek out internal & external networking opportunities to keep updated of industry innovations and developments

Requirements:

  • Experience of successfully running a guarding region, ideally in excess of £30m
  • A track record of balancing delivery of excellent levels of service
  • Operationally strong grass roots knowledge with a demonstratable client centric approach
  • Strong leadership skills and emotional intelligence
  • Personal style of leading from front, being visible and accessible around the business
  • Capable of working under pressure and strict deadlines and objectives
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills
