Manage the provision of security & business support services within designated division/business area. Ensuring Customer and Company performance targets, both financial and operational, are consistently met and/or exceeded. Establishing and maintaining excellent client relationships is essential, as is the ability to keep up-to-date with market changes and opportunities.
Job Responsibility:
To implement the Company’s short and long term strategic plans & objectives
To manage the guarding operation within assigned division/business area
To develop and maintain effective relationships with key customers and potential customers
To ensure that the business operates in a financially sound way taking accountability and responsibility for controlling resources and costs
To develop and maintain an effective cost control culture at all levels within your division
To identify areas for additional business from both current & potential customers and provide ongoing support to the Business Development team to grow the business
To lead, manage and motivate direct reports including goal setting, performance reviews, appraisals, coaching and development planning
To ensure that the business and its mission and services are consistently presented in a strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders
To ensure that organisational risks are minimised and managed in accordance with current laws, regulations and internal company procedures
To manage your on-going training and career development, actively seek out internal & external networking opportunities to keep updated of industry innovations and developments
Requirements:
Experience of successfully running a guarding region, ideally in excess of £30m
A track record of balancing delivery of excellent levels of service
Operationally strong grass roots knowledge with a demonstratable client centric approach
Strong leadership skills and emotional intelligence
Personal style of leading from front, being visible and accessible around the business
Capable of working under pressure and strict deadlines and objectives
Excellent analytical and numerical skills
Ability to work with confidential information
Organised and efficient
