Randstad is searching for a skilled and accomplished Divisional Coordinator who possesses a keen eye for detail and excels in their field. This role requires the ability to build and sustain strong relationships. Our collaborative department is in need of an enthusiastic individual who embraces challenges and is committed to making a positive impact within the environmental sector for the state government sector.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the coordination of parliamentary requests including Budget Estimates and Questions on Notice
  • Manage a centralised mailbox and ensure timely allocation of briefing and correspondence requests to relevant teams
  • Utilise and provide staff training on record management systems like CM9 and InReach
  • Provide essential policy and project support to the Office of the Executive Director
  • Undertake research and analysis to inform strategic decision-making
  • Draft high-quality briefs and reports

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing high-volume coordination tasks, specifically using record management systems
  • Ability to perform research and analysis to inform policy outcomes and contribute to the development of project documentation
  • Knowledge of government administrative protocols, including coordinating Questions on Notice, Budget Estimates, and Parliamentary Notes
  • Experience liaising with senior industry and government representatives, maintaining professional relationships to exchange information and coordinate policy issues
  • A track record of working effectively across teams and units to share information and improve outcomes for customers
  • The ability to apply creative reasoning and critical thinking to address complex, sensitive, or technical issues within a high-pressure environment
