Our client, an established multidisciplinary firm is looking for a strategic Division Manager to lead their surveying team in the London region. This role is designed for a visionary leader who is passionate about urban development and infrastructure projects that foster community growth. You will be responsible for overseeing the local survey group’s operations, ensuring high-quality project delivery, and driving business growth within a collaborative, professional environment. Job Responsibility:

  • Spearhead the annual business planning and financial oversight for the regional survey group, monitoring revenue, margins, and team utilization
  • Mentor staff through performance reviews, fostering a collaborative team culture, and resolving operational challenges
  • Manage high-profile projects from proposal to completion, ensuring technical excellence and consistency
  • Maintain strong relationships with both existing and new clients

Requirements:

  • Degree in Geomatics or Civil Engineering (or an equivalent field)
  • Experience in the surveying sector for urban development
  • 10 years of industry experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or staff management capacity
  • Deep understanding of business finance, contract management, and surveying principles
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills

Nice to have:

Ontario Land Surveyor (OLS) license
